Bad Balladry Friday

This week on "Bad Balladry Friday", I shall show you a parody written by me :)

The real poem-

Trees by Joyce Kilmer

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

My version...edited by the authority :'( -

Whiskey by Tia Graham

I think that I shall never see
A drink as bad as good whiskey

A drink whose yummy taste is prest
Against the knocked out fellows chest

A drink that people praise all day
Only to have wives leave someday

A drink that drunken think is fair
That's why they drink it in their lair

Upon the bar where many gain
Happiness now, but tomorrow pain

Sometimes life is full of glee
But it can be messed up by good whiskey

(yes, this is a knock-off of anyone who does "Bad Haiku Friday")

    To be serious, I think that was awesome.
    Haikus aren't my favourite genre...but hey, if the haiku is good then I have no complains~~

Commenting? I'll reply :)

Yes, even if you don't want me too ;)

And remember... I can read your comments, so I can delete them if I don't like you...

Oh and keep it clean... or my buds from the Secret Service might come down and have to "talk" to you.
