What does that mean?

Ah, young people.

Sometimes they bug the living heck outta ya.

Other times they don't.

Sometimes when they ask you to help them with their math, it's hard to say yes.

Very hard.
Especially when they are being "difficult"

"What's 914-635?"

"Well, you need to write it down and subtract each number separately."

"Can you help?"

"..."

"Please??"

"
Alright. Fine. First you need to carry over because 5 doesn't subtract from 4, right?"

"Ok."

And the rest is perfect. WHY????? Why can't they just do by themselves??

Ug.

I need something I have heard of.

Not sure it exists. but I'm willing to search.

Have you ever heard of it?

Have you seen it before?

I think it's called.... patience.

I could be wrong.

But, then again it is me.

I'm probably wrong...

  1. This reminds me of my house right now.. my little step brother is doing long division, and it is extra frustrating because he still doesn't know his simple times tables off by heart. It takes him two minutes to figure out 3 x 7.

I'll really need to have the patience in the future when I have kids because I know it's going to be frustrating, especially when you have a kid who doesn't understand WHY.

Yes, even if you don't want me too ;)

And remember... I can read your comments, so I can delete them if I don't like you...

Oh and keep it clean... or my buds from the Secret Service might come down and have to "talk" to you.
