Crashes make one sad
Crashes make one sad.
Windows Vista makes one very sad.
Crashes on Windows Vista make one very, very sad.
Yes. That is correct.
You think correctly.
Our laptop (That has windows vista on it) crashed and deleted everything from pictures to music.
All my photos.
All my music.
All my schoolwork that was saved onto it. (I saved some on other computers thank God)
But still. It makes me sad. Very sad.
I had over 70 songs that I bought and now they are all gone. Most of them were for my sisters Sweet 16 party, (Like 35ish)
But the rest I had bought carefully with my numerous iTunes gift cards. I had been taking it slowly. Buying a song maybe once a week. If that. Most people would've spent it all right away. But I tried to be good. I tried to carefully choose which song I liked best.
AND THIS IS WHAT I GET?????????????
Not cool.
Not cool at all.
In other news....
I've been awarded by Emily Joy!!
She has a great blog called A Roller Coaster Ride, go on ahead and check it out!!!The rules are pretty simple. All you have to do is accept the award and award 5 other fellow bloggers. And you can't say that you award everyone :) So now I get to award 5 bloggers!
1. Sara G.
2. Christie
3.
4. Marissa
5. Danielle
Thanks so much!

ReplyDeleteYour so very welcome:)
Marissa-
Yeah, I'm upset :(
Thanks for the Three Column stuff:) I'll get working on that
Since you already bought the songs, it is not considered illegal to borrow a CD and copy the files.
ReplyDeletePictures and schoolwork? I'm afraid I can't help you there
I'm sorry.
ReplyDeleteMajor bummer.
Bet I know what you would like for your birthday this year....though it's very far away.
Weep.
A-
ReplyDeleteI have all the songs on my iPod still, so that's good. I think it's just a matter of Tori wanting to use the songs for her upcoming podular. So we'll see what happens
Aunt Lala-
Ya, it'll be interesting seeing my dad uncover a new challenge.
hahaha, ya I love gift cards :)
@Tia
ReplyDeleteThere are programs that allow you to rip all the music back off the iPod. Or, if the only ones you want are bought from iTunes, you can open the app, plug in your iPod, and then in the "Store" menu at the top of the window, there should be a button marked "Transfer Purchases". This will grab all purchased content on your iPod and put it into iTunes.
By the way, what kind of a crash was it? A Blue Screen of Death (BSoD), or a hardrive failure?
Josh-
ReplyDeleteDo you know what the app is called? It sounds promising.
The crash was a Windows Vista problem. Apparently, they are common. Ugh.
Oh yeah, crashes with Windows are common. In fact, the next version of Windows due out this year already has over 5000 bugs to fix. Freaky.
ReplyDeleteAs per the app, I'll let you know tonight. Some things are easier to explain in person.
